De Bethune DB25GMT Starry Varius
De Bethune DB25GMT Starry Varius
Our Take
De Bethune launches the brand new DB25GMT - the first complicated timepiece in the Starry Varius Series.
More than ever, this release is welcomed with open arms, as a sign of the times and horological feat! We’re all collectively ready to begin traveling again, itching to visit our favorite destinations and see family and friends. With that, travel watches are back in action! This GMT commemorates the reopening of global travel in De Bethune fashion.
Collectors and enthusiasts will immediately recognize all the emblems of the brand’s fine work. The Starry Varius blued dial, a flame blued day/night indicator on an integrated 24hr time zone indicator, as well as design characteristics of the in-house calibre (De Bethune’s 29th calibre!). While the GMT hand sits centrally, the 24hr time zone indicator provides the dial with layered depth.
Ultimately, both the complication and its display have been entirely redesigned with a view to optimising legibility and operating convenience to meet globetrotters’ expectation. Without compromise, the DB25GMT Starry Varius features the best of the brand’s watchmaking innovation and finishing and decoration methods.
More than just an ally for travelers, this De Bethune creation exudes the classic, avant-garde spirit of watchmaker Denis Flageollet’s watchmaking vision.
