If you read some of the popular watch blogs or online publications out there, you might think this year’s Baselworld was one of the better ones in recent years, and from the standpoint of the what used to make any attendee’s life miserable (overpriced food, terrible Wi-Fi, overly crowded halls), it most certainly was better, but in terms of whether or not any of the big brands released something Earth-shattering from either a design or a mechanical standpoint, the show felt a little… well… safe
